Then I get used to the place and I don’t notice those things anymore. So only by forgetting can I see the place again as it really is."
I've loved this quote ever since Darrah, Casey, and I discovered it during our time in London.  I thought of it today when I saw Milan's Duomo for the first time and wondered if, over the next few months, there will be day that I come out of the Metro station and don't just look up in awe of its architecture and stature.
