He's here!  He's here!  DC came in town today from Belgium and to celebrate we decided to check out Il Duomo at dusk and grab some dinner in the tres chic neighborhood of Brera.  We couldn't help ourselves though when we passed one of the best gelaterias in the city and, so, we warmed up with some pistachio and caramello gelato.  

We dined at a Rick Steves reco and were quite pleased.  Unfortunately, I did not order enough to satisfy our waiter (but was too embarrassed to tell him about our starter) and yet very much enjoyed my lobster linguine.  The lobster was cut in half longways and served on top.  For all his trouble, poor lobster probably deserved a bit more cracking than I was willing to do but it had been a long week!
